The candidate has been informed of the decision, and as such the Election Committee is releasing the text of the decision to the --- On January 28, 2010 an allegation was made to the Election Committee that candidate Jenna Goodhand was in violation of the Federation of Students’ Election Procedures. The allegation read as follows: Dear Elections Committee, I would like to allege that Jenna Goodhand is using unapproved campaign materials, which is the Trademark of the sorority she is in , Kappa Kappa Gamma. She mentions their name, logo, shows letters, and even has pictures with the trademarked name in it. This is breaking the law, as well... breaking the law for personal gain. The Election Committee has determined that this is not in violation of Council Procedure 6. Whether or not the candidate in question has illegitimately made use of the words Kappa Kappa Gamma or the letters KKG is not under the Election Committee’s purview.
